With a background in steam engineering, Brian purchased a Myford lathe in order to build a 5-inch gauge locomotive. Years later he built a 7 1/4-inch gauge locomotive before discovering the delights of Garden Railways. A locomotive construction series in the Australian Model Engineer magazine soon followed and the book Steam Trains in Your Garden was published in 2007.
In 2017 he was joined by his son Tim, a Marine Engineer, with the aim of providing high quality customised locomotives to order. Strong practical skills combined with advanced Engineering and CAD experience would allow the complete in-house design, development, manufacturing, lining and painting of all locomotives.
