Description
The Back Woods Water Tank car is a wonderful railroad
car and makes a splendid model. The model is well
suited for average to expert model railroaders. It is easy
to build while obtaining precise detail using common
tools. This kit contains sawn aircraft grade plywood and
dimensional lumber laser-cut parts that offer a unique
building technique and assures an accurate
representation of the original. Included in the kit are all
castings, strip wood, and laser cut styrene eliminating
the need to create parts from scratch. Some castings
require final finishing before they are suitable for the
model.
Trucks, wheel sets and couplers are included. The
model comes detailed with wooden beams on the ends
of the frame that held the original link-and-pin coupler
